Associate Attorney

Law Office of Ryan S. Shipp, PLLC, is an established real estate law firm located in Lantana, Florida, which offers a full array of real estate services to its clients, with a focus on commercial and residential evictions for possession, mobile home evictions, unlawful detainer actions, and ejectment proceedings. We also assist our clients with breach of contract, community association disputes, and transactional assignments. Our firm is seeking an Associate Attorney that is highly motivated and looking to take their career to the next level by becoming a part of our team.

Qualifications:

• Active member and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Ability to think outside the box.
• Self-starter, able to work in fast pace environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be in direct contact with clients.
• Possess positive energy, good character, and integrity.
• Empathetic and passionate about work and client’s legal issues.
• Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills.
• Experience in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple ongoing assignments.
• Enthusiastic, courteous, and ability to get along well with others.
• Civil and possess “likability” in personality.

Responsibilities:

• Associate Attorney will be responsible for all aspects of clients' legal cases including meeting with prospective clients, devising legal strategies, updating clients on case status.
• Attendance at court when required.
• On-going communication with clients and principal attorney regarding status of cases managed on a weekly basis.
• Will be required to draft motions, file cases, prepare briefs and memorandums of law as needed, discovery, and client interaction.
• Conduct legal research.
• Assist with transactional matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
