Associate Attorney

We are seeking a litigation Attorney who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping property managers resolve matters efficiently and professionally.

Key ResponsibilitiesCourt Representation

• Represent property management clients in unlawful detainer trials, motions, garnishments, and post-judgment actions in the Richmond market and outlying jurisdictions.
• Handle daily court dockets with professionalism, preparedness, and strong courtroom presence.
• Provide real-time updates to clients and internal teams after each hearing.

Client Communication & Support

• Provide legal Q&A (client calls, emails, compliance questions).
• Explain processes, timelines, and risks clearly while maintaining a friendly, solutions-oriented tone.
• Participate in client trainings, webinars, and onboarding meetings.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with the operations, technology, and collections teams to ensure cases move smoothly "from notice to writ to recovery."
• Report risks, trends, or recurring client errors so the team can address them proactively.
• Uphold Senex’s brand values: speed, transparency, precision, and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license in VA (or willingness to become licensed and or in the process).
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; eviction or collections experience is a plus but not required.
• Courtroom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Tech-comfortable and willing to work within Senex Powered and other internal systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
