Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney admitted to practice in CT. The Associate Attorney will be involved in all aspects of the handling of a personal injury case, including the review and analysis of medical records, legal research and motion writing, drafting pleadings and discovery, communicating with and providing legal guidance and support to clients, engaging in settlement negotiations and representing clients in various proceedings such as depositions, oral arguments, pretrials, trials and other court proceedings. Collaborating with senior attorneys, the individual will be expected to manage cases effectively while maintaining strong client communication and upholding the firm's dedication to professionalism and client service.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Connecticut;
  • Preferably 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience;
  • Strong skills in legal research, analysis and writing;
  • Proficiency in public speaking and advocacy;
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with people;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time-management, and organization;
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced and multifaceted work environment; and
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to professionalism and ethics in the practice of law.

Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience;
