Job Overview
We are a boutique civil litigation firm dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized legal representation to our clients. We focus on complex civil matters, including business litigation, personal injury, and general civil litigation. Our small, collaborative team environment allows attorneys to gain hands-on experience, work directly with partners, and take significant responsibility on cases from inception through trial.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of civil litigation experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, researcher, and advocate who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting. Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.

Manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, depositions, hearings, and trials.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Assist in trial preparation and participate in court appearances.

Collaborate with partners and staff on case management and strategy.

Handle a diverse caseload with increasing independence.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.

2-5 years of experience in civil litigation (defense or plaintiff-side; experience in commercial, business, or general civil matters preferred).

Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

Courtroom experience, including motions, depositions, and trials, is highly desirable.

Exceptional analytical, research, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to client service and professional growth.
