Coons and Crump, LLC is a respected law firm serving individuals and families across Kansas. We focus on helping clients achieve a fresh start through consumer bankruptcy representation. We are seeking a motivated Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team in our Topeka, Lawrence, Wichita or Overland Park office.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to discuss their financial situation and legal options
• Represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases
• Prepare petitions, schedules, and legal filings
• Attend court hearings, creditor meetings, and related proceedings
• Provide compassionate and professional guidance throughout the process

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and license to practice law in Kansas (required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
• Experience in consumer bankruptcy is preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• In-person in Topeka office (with some remote work potential after training)
