Associate Attorney

With a commitment to client success and a collaborative team environment, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team.

Position Overview: As an Associate Attorney at The Merriman Law Firm, P.L.L.C., you will support our legal team by providing high-quality legal representation to our clients. You will work under the supervision of the managing partner to assist with our litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and estate planning documents.
• Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with team members on case strategies and legal approaches.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and being in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Prior courtroom experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in Wills, Trusts, Estates, and/or Guardianship is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
