Associate Attorney, Civil Litigation

Martineau King is a civil litigation defense firm with offices in Charlotte, NC and Rock Hill, SC dedicated to representing governmental entities, business, and professionals throughout the Carolinas. We take pride in being a certified women and veteran owned law firm as well as pride in the opportunity we offer for attorneys who want to litigate for real.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an associate attorney. This position offers a wide range of litigation work including opportunities to become a subject matter expert, write briefs, argue motions, and trial. Associate attorneys work as part of a team and with independence to evaluate problems to get results.

An ideal candidate will have some experience in one or more of the following practice areas:

  • Construction Litigation
  • Defense of Government and Municipalities
  • Employment Law
  • Business Litigation
  • Insurance Coverage
  • Premises and Product Liability
  • Professional Malpractice
  • Transportation Litigation
  • Personal Injury
  • Creditor's Rights
  • Other Civil Litigation

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina or South Carolina or eligible for admissions based on an existing UBE score.

2+ Years of relevant experience required

Must be a great writer and have an excellent attention to detail.
