Associate Attorney

The Law Office of Xiaomin Hu, P.C., a fast-growing boutique immigration firm, is seeking a full-time associate attorney to join our office in Newport Beach CA. We have helped numerous tech companies including public listed and startups and their employees obtaining both immigrant and non-immigration status and visas. Our firm primarily focuses on employment-based immigration petitions such as EB1A, EB1B, EB1C, NIW, EB2, EB3, EB5 and non-immigration working visas such as H1B, L1, O1, TN and E. We are looking for an immigration attorney to grow with the firm.

Duties:

• Prepare, review and submit non-immigration, immigration, and PERM applications
• Supervise legal assistants and provide internal training to legal assistants
• Manage client expectations, communicate with clients on a timely basis
• Research immigration policies and procedures, as well as immigration statutes, case laws and regulations
• Provide legal strategy to meet clients’ immigration purpose

Qualification:

• JD or LLM with admission to any U.S. state bar
• Minimum 2-3 years of business immigration experience, especially PERM filings, EB1A and NIW, strong case management experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple matters in a fast paced environment
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Languages are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
