Associate Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling matters related to real estate, government, and business law. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and agreements, and managing litigation matters. This is a full-time, in person position based in Decatur, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of real estate and business litigation, including legal research, motions and pleadings practice, and discovery
• Facilitate and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
• Independently develop case strategies and provide legal analysis and recommendations
• Manage litigation matters from initial intake through resolution
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships
• Draft and analyze contracts, loan documents, and leases
• Perform due diligence for risks, liabilities, and legal issues related to business transactions by examining records and properties
• Representing clients in discussions to secure favorable terms and conditions
• Assisting with client understanding of legal structures and entity formation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia in good standing
• Strong writing, research and analytical skills with a proactive approach to case strategy
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong commitment to client service and a passion for helping clients
• One to three (1-3) years of litigation or real estate/business experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
