Church Page & Gailan PLLC is a respected and growing personal injury law firm with offices in Yakima, Kennewick, Wenatchee, and Spokane, Washington. The firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation, compassionate client service, and diligent advocacy for individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others. As our offices continues to expand, the firm is seeking a qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join its personal injury practice. This position is a key role within the firm and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on all aspects of personal injury litigation, from case evaluation through resolution. The Associate Attorney will play an active role in case strategy, legal analysis, drafting pleadings and discovery, negotiating with insurance carriers, and advocating for clients throughout the litigation process. This role is well suited for an attorney who is eager to develop strong litigation skills while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative and client-focused team. The ideal candidate is a driven and detail-oriented professional who demonstrates sound judgment, strong legal analysis, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced legal environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the position involves regular interaction with clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court personnel. Prior experience in personal injury law is preferred but not required, as the firm values mentorship and is committed to supporting the professional growth and long-term success of its attorneys.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and analyze pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic effectiveness
  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to the managing attorney throughout all phases of case development and resolution
  • Oversee and manage paralegal workflow, including assigning tasks, supervising completion, and ensuring adherence to firm standards and deadlines
  • Negotiate effectively with insurance carriers and other parties to advance client interests and support favorable outcomes
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda, summaries, and analyses to support case strategy and decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case strategy, evaluation, and overall litigation planning

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school or completion of a Rule 6 Intern program (or equivalent)
  • Admission to practice law in the State of Washington, or ability to obtain admission within a reasonable timeframe
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with the ability to produce high-quality work product
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple cases and competing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
  • Prior experience in personal injury law is preferred but not required

Pay: $105,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
