Associate Attorney

Rapidly growing estate planning firm based in Edina, Minnesota is seeking to add a motivated, team-oriented associate attorney to our team.
Guttman Law provides client-centered and relationship-driven estate planning services to individuals and families throughout Minnesota. Our firm focuses on providing clients with peace of mind through estate planning.

We are looking for an attorney who enjoys:

• working as part of a team
• working independently
• working directly with clients
• managing legal projects and workflows

The ideal candidate will have experience working in firms that practice estate planning and probate, meeting with clients and involvement in consultation meetings, drafting and reviewing estate plans, and conducting estate plan review and signing meetings.

We seek an individual who is driven to exceed expectations and contribute to the growth of the firm in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities:

• Providing a truly enjoyable estate planning experience for our clients and their families
• Navigating potential new clients through estate planning options that will be in their best interests
• Assisting clients with reviewing and updating their estate plans
• Working with families and individuals after the passing of loved one
• Contributing to the success of the team even if it means going outside of your job description
• Helping to grow the firm's presence throughout Minnesota

Qualifications: Licensed to Practice Law in Minnesota.

Required: 2 years of working as attorney in a law firm or the legal department of a company.

Preferred: 1 to 3 years of experience working with Wills, Trusts and estate administration. We are willing to train the right attorney.

Experience with, and comfortable with, one-on-one consultation meetings with clients on your own.

Salary dependent upon experience.
