Associate Attorney - Collections

Hirzel Law is hiring an attorney to join our collections team in Michigan. What You Will Do

• Support the collections team on a high volume of association collections matters
• Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Manage deadlines, filings, and communications with clients and courts
• Use our online platform to track case progress and provide clear client updates
• Assist with negotiations, hearings, and court appearances under supervision

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan, or sitting for the bar, with the drive to transition quickly from law clerk to attorney
• Able to manage a fast-paced workload and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $85,000 to $95,000 for an attorney, or $65,000 for a law clerk, with an automatic jump to attorney pay once the bar is passed
• Quarterly bonus opportunities up to $10,000 annually tied directly to firm profit and pod billing targets, with clear visibility into performance metrics
