Associate Attorney – Commercial & Intellectual Property Litigation

Gray Ice Higdon PLLC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Commercial and Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group.

The ideal candidate will have one to five years of experience handling commercial litigation matters. While not required, experience in patent infringement litigation or patent prosecution is preferred. Candidates should possess excellent analytical and writing skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling all phases of commercial litigation, including research, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Assisting with intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, trademark infringement, and trade secret matters.
• Communicating effectively with clients, courts, and colleagues.
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Conduct electronic research using Westlaw and other research tools.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted (or eligible for admission) to the Kentucky Bar.
• 1–5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Patent litigation or prosecution experience preferred but not required.

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
