Associate Attorney - Commercial Tax Litigation - Remote

2,000 total hours annually, including both billable and nonbillable time.

Van Allen LLC seeks an extraordinary attorney with 3 to 6 years of commercial tax litigation experience. The practice group has numerous cases throughout the United States. The firm represents dozens of the largest businesses in the United States. The successful candidate must demonstrate an exceptional academic background, stellar writing skills and a commitment to excellence.

This key responsibilities of this attorney position include:

· Legal research regarding abstract commercial concepts

· Strategic development of new cases

· Preparation of court documents including petitions, discovery, memos, briefs and supporting evidence

· Delegate tasks to and supervise supporting professionals

· Negotiate Stipulations of Fact or settlements

· Interview witnesses and coordinate all routine matters with clients

· Represent clients in court or administrative board appearances

Annual compensation is $138,000 to $205,000.
