Associate Attorney – Consumer Financial Services Litigation

Job Overview
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of consumer financial services litigation experience to join our Irvine office.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a regional, national, or highly regarded local law firm. Exceptional writing skills, oral advocacy, and strong academic credentials are essential. Judicial clerkship experience is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, draft, and organize pleadings, including demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, and summary judgment motions.
• Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, fact development, and proficiency in e-discovery tools.
• Take and defend depositions with confidence and precision.
• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and pre-trial matters in both state and federal courts.
• Demonstrate familiarity with consumer protection statutes, including RFDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UDAP.
• Provide strategic and analytical legal counsel that aligns with clients’ business and economic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of financial services litigation experience (2 years may be considered for highly qualified candidates).
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and trial work.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professional maturity, and the ability to interface directly with clients.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage urgent requests, and deliver accurate, high-quality work under pressure.
• Initiative, ambition, and a client-service-focused mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
