Associate Attorney (hybrid position)

Responsibilities
- Strategize and develop comprehensive and bespoke legal solutions for clients while maintaining open and clear communication.
- Manage all aspects of a client's matter from engagement to close, including maintaining accurate client records and billing/expenses.
- Collaborate with other team members on complex matters.
- Help build efficient processes in the delivery of premium legal services.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues and draft legal documents as needed.
- Represent clients at court appearances and in negotiations.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to NJ state bar; NY state bar admission a plus
- 3-7 years practicing as an attorney
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas of law: contracts, corporate structuring, transactions, civil litigation, and/or estate and business succession planning
- Independent thinker with the ability to problem solve
- Enjoys working in a flexible work environment with in-office days as needed when meetings and/or projects are best handled in person
- A team player who is looking for a long-term position with growth potential and appreciates transparency and investments in professional development and mentorship
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience managing a full caseload
- Experience in providing legal advice and conducting legal research
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and the opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic legal environment. This position is also eligible for a creative and attainable hours-based bonus structure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
