Associate Attorney – Immigration Law

Position Overview:
The Law Offices of Elsa Martinez, PLC, a respected immigration law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive immigration legal services to a diverse client base, representing individuals before USCIS, EOIR, and other relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and represent clients in all areas of immigration law, including family-based petitions, waivers, removal defense, humanitarian relief, and related matters.
• Draft motions, petitions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for interviews, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Manage a caseload in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients regarding case progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar of any U.S. state, in good standing.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to immigration law and service to immigrant communities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in immigration law or litigation is preferred.
• Experience representing clients in immigration court proceedings or USCIS interviews is a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
