Associate Attorney (Junior Level)

Job Description

An expanding corporate and securities law firm is seeking a mid-level Paralegal or Law Clerk who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable, and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in corporate transactions, including SPACs, M&A, and SEC filings.

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required, as the position involves regular interaction with Chinese-speaking clients and review of bilingual documents.

Requirement

• 1–2 years of legal experience in the corporate/securities law field, including exposure to: SPAC transactions/Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)/SEC filings and compliance procedures
• 1-2 years of legal experience in corporate/securities law field
• Ability to conduct due diligence
• Knowledge of relevant software and tools
• Strong clerical skills
• Ability to analyze specific client issues and identify problems and solutions
• Ability to perform complex analysis and problem solving

Qualifications

MUST be native or bilingual in Chinese

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.01 - $27.72 per hour
