A boutique law practice in Northern Virginia is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to support high-profile development projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage zoning/land use applications, special exceptions, and related filings
- Draft persuasive legal documents, project descriptions, and research reports
- Oversee consultants (engineers, planners, architects, etc.) and coordinate with jurisdiction staff
- Support all aspects of land development and subdivision approvals
- Maintain strong client and third-party communications
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; active State Bar membership (VA or eligible under Rule 1A:1)
- 4–5+ years of experience in land use, zoning, or transactional real estate law
- Strong legal research, writing, and project management skills
- Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
