Associate Attorney, Litigation

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of litigation experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various areas of law, including, but not limited to, Medical Malpractice Law. This position requires excellent research skills and proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis. The Associate Attorney will play a vital role in supporting our clients through effective negotiation and representation.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings across various practice areas.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases to develop strategies for client representation.
• Assist in preparing cases for trial, including gathering evidence and witness preparation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member of the Maryland bar.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Malpractice Law is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
