Bohm Wildish & Matsen, LLP has a full-time opening in its Civil Litigation Department for an Associate Attorney for its office located in Costa Mesa, California.

We are offering a remote position to Associate Attorney candidates who are skilled, reliable and can excel in an independent working environment. Work from the comfort of your own workspace as you collaborate with some of the most adept legal professionals in the industry.
We seek candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance defense who are committed to providing excellent service to our clients. The ideal candidates will be able to manage all facets of the case with minimal supervision. We believe in autonomy and trust our team to manage their workload, ensuring the utmost dedication to our clients regardless of physical location.
Qualifications
· Active/Licensed attorney in good standing with the CA State Bar.
· 5 years of experience with insurance defense litigation matters.
· Courtroom experience (preferred).
· Trial experience (preferred).
· Exceptional legal research, writing and analytical skills.
· Proficient in written and verbal communication especially considering the remote nature of collaborations.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to conduct discovery, including propounding written discovery, responding to discovery, depositions and preparing and responding to discovery motions; familiarity with C.C.P. deadlines and procedures.
· Ability to forge and maintain relationships with clients, peers and other professionals.
· Professional demeanor at all times and adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards of the law profession.
· Attention to detail, highly organized and able to handle multiple cases.
· Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) as well as Adobe Acrobat.
