Associate Attorney (Mid-Level) – Litigation & Business Law

A highly respected boutique law firm specializing in commercial litigation, business transactions, and aviation law is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney (3–5 years of experience) to join its team.

Who You Are

You are a strong legal writer with a genuine interest in litigation and dispute resolution. You enjoy tackling complex legal issues and take pride in producing persuasive written and oral advocacy. You seek to continuously grow as both a litigator and a trusted advisor to clients.

Key Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the firm’s practice areas
  • Demonstrated interest in litigation and dispute resolution
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Solid academic credentials
  • Strategic and creative thinker with sound legal judgment
  • Strong issue-spotting and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Team-oriented, collaborative mindset

Core Responsibilities

  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and post-judgment motions
  • Manage litigation and arbitration matters from inception through resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, memoranda, and client correspondence
  • Oversee written discovery, depositions, and fact development
  • Collaborate with experts and co-counsel
  • Serve as second chair in trials and arbitration hearings
  • Counsel clients on risk management and dispute strategies
  • Analyze and interpret contracts and commercial agreements
