Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to join our Accounting team!

Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing technical support with regards to maintaining and enhancing accounting systems, as well as working on enterprise-wide technology initiatives with an impact to billing.

Responsibilities

  • Define and review business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Validate, analyze and assign severity to system defects and enhancements
  • Provide approval when new features and fixes are complete and ready for deployment
  • Facilitate meetings with regards to production problems, system business rules, and enhancements
  • Use technology to document process flows and procedures
  • Require minimal supervision in terms of business solutioning and works independently with technology applications
  • Analyze billing data at a basic level to help inform decision making and measure success of new features
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences both written and verbally
  • May be called upon to handle other duties as required

The 37.5-hour work week is scheduled from Monday through Friday, between the core hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

A hybrid schedule will be available once trained to work independently, with three days reporting to our Lincoln, RI office and two days working from home.

This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functionals of the job
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences both in writing and verbally
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to solve business problems and analyze data to review project outcomes
  • Skilled in business solutioning and documenting process flows and procedures
  • BillingCenter and PolicyCenter experience preferred
