Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Associate Business Developer to manage our Upwork profile, generate leads, and secure projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and experience in proposal writing and client handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize company Upwork profile
• Search and identify relevant projects daily
• Write customized, high-quality proposals
• Communicate with potential clients professionally
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams
• Maintain response time and proposal consistency
• Negotiate pricing and project scope
• Track leads and maintain CRM or pipeline records
• Achieve monthly project acquisition targets
• Manage and optimize website sales funnels, including lead capture, follow-ups, and conversion tracking.

Required Skills

• Excellent English writing and communication skills
• Experience in proposal writing and bidding platforms
• Understanding of web/app/software services
• Strong negotiation and client-handling ability
• Time management and consistency

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Upwork bidding or sales
• Experience in IT / Software / Digital Agency environment
• Basic understanding of tech stacks (React, Node, Nextjs, React Native etc.)
• CRM or sales pipeline experience
