Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Associate (Cashier) to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help drive sales and foster customer loyalty.

Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process customer transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and practicing good phone etiquette
• Engage customers in retail sales conversations, promoting featured products and store promotions
• Ensure a clean and organized checkout area while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions
• Strong communication skills to serve customers effectively
• Knowledge of grocery store operations, retail sales techniques, and upselling strategies
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and transaction accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Work Schedule: 9am to 1pm Monday through Friday and flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
