Associate Claims Administrator

Job Overview
The Associate Claims Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate entry of claim data into company systems and the efficient processing and management of claims. This role blends meticulous data entry, analytics, and customer service skills required to manage claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Responsibilities

**Data Entry & Claims Management:**

- Accurately input claim-related data into databases and management systems.

- Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes.

- Process and review incoming claims to ensure all necessary documentation is received.

- Evaluate claim details and support decision-making on claim validity.

- Coordinate with independent adjusters, service providers, and insurance representatives to resolve issues and obtain additional information.

- Update claim statuses in the system and prepare reports for management.

- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

- Maintain confidentiality and data security in handling sensitive information.

- **Communication & Customer Service:**

- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to data entry and claim status.

- Provide clear and timely communication to internal teams and external clients regarding claims processing.

- Assist in resolving discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary.

**Skills and Competencies:**

- Proficient in typing and data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

- Strong analytical skills to assess claim details and identify discrepancies.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Team-oriented with the capacity to work independently when needed.

Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

- Previous experience in data entry, claims processing, or administrative roles.

- Familiarity with claims management software, spreadsheets, and database systems.

- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Automotive experience (auto technician, sales, etc.) is a plus.

Working Conditions

- Primarily office-based with standard business hours.

- Some remote work may be available depending on organizational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
