Healthy Living and Lifestyles Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA. This role provides clinical support to adults in a residential treatment setting, focusing on substance use recovery and detoxification. The ideal candidate is a registered ACSW who is passionate about helping clients begin their recovery journey in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Position Summary

The Associate Clinical Social Worker provides individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and discharge planning for clients receiving residential detox services. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals, the ACSW plays a key role in supporting clients through the early, often most challenging stages of recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, etc.)
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups on topics related to addiction, recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to clients during withdrawal and stabilization
  • Coordinate care with medical staff, psychiatrists, case managers, and outside providers
  • Develop comprehensive discharge plans and aftercare referrals to support continued recovery
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and licensing standards
  • Participate in clinical supervision, treatment team meetings, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Current registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical social work, behavioral health, or a related setting
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, withdrawal management, and evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred:

  • Experience working with clients in residential, detox, or inpatient behavioral health settings
  • Familiarity with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-Time position, 40 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling available
  • Pay: $58,240 – $62,400 per year, depending on experience
  • Benefits include paid time off and a flexible schedule
