Serve as a member of the District’s custodial team; work cooperatively with District and building-level custodial/maintenance personnel to provide students with a safe, attractive, clean, and comfortable environment so they can fully benefit from the learning opportunities available through the District’s instructional/activity program. Also assist with food service operation, work cooperatively with District and building level food service personnel to serve attractive and nutritious meals for students.
Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with limited supervision as well as work effectively and cooperatively with other members of the cafeteria/custodial teams, students, and other District staff
- Willingness to obtain appropriate training/certification in food service areas as may be required
- Demonstrated proficiency in general cleaning; ability to use cleaning equipment and handle/lift heavy objects; ability to be on feet for long periods of time
- Custodial background/experience/knowledge
- Willingness to adapt to specific or new working situations
Salary: District Support Services Wage Schedule - 2025-2026 Base = $17.85/hour for associate custodian, and $17.05/hour for assistant cook
Employment Term: Eight (8) hours per day, scheduled to work each day school is in session. This is a benefit eligible position. Current hours are as follows: 4 hours custodial, 4 hours cafeteria – shift time is 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
