Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Manager, Retirement Services, the Associate Data & Implementation Analyst will support Retirement Services in the implementation of new or upgraded technology solutions. This includes requirements gathering, system testing, data conversion, and post-implementation support. The Associate Data & Implementation Analyst is responsible for analysis of data and information, and will use their knowledge and understanding of benefits administration and information systems to support systems implementation projects for the Retirement Services department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Technical Manager to successfully implement new and upgraded technology solutions.

  • Create data conversion requirements and data conversion test plans.

  • Create and maintain user manuals and process documentation.

  • Support administration of newly implemented processes through transition to ongoing administration team and support training of the ongoing administration team.

  • Special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications (Competencies):

  • 2+ years experience in defined benefit plan administration or related experience preferred.

  • Prior quality assurance and UAT experience required.

  • Knowledge of pension calculations and validation of data elements required.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel; experience with Vitech V3 products, QlikView and Dynamics experience preferred.

  • Strong aptitude for data analysis.

  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent business writing skills.

  • Detail oriented with strong ability to multitask.

Soft Skills (Interpersonal Skills):

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.

  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced work environment.

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent preferred.
