Associate Data Scraping & Scripting Expert (Node.js + Python)

We are looking for a skilled Associate Data Scraping & Scripting Expert with hands-on experience in Node.js, Python (Scrapy), and Selenium. In this role, you will design and maintain robust web scrapers, automate workflows, and efficiently handle dynamic websites and complex data extraction challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable scrapers using Node.js, Python Scrapy, and Selenium.
• Handle dynamic websites, AJAX content, authentication, and anti-bot mechanisms.
• Deliver clean and structured data outputs in JSON, CSV, or via APIs.
• Implement proxy rotation, user-agent rotation, and anti-detection strategies.
• Automate repetitive data extraction and browser tasks using scripting.
• Debug, optimize, and ensure consistent uptime of scraping workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leads to align with project requirements.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in scraping and scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (experience with Puppeteer, Cheerio, or Playwright is a plus).
• Strong expertise in Python Scrapy for production-level crawlers.
• Proficient in Selenium for browser automation.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS selectors, XPath, cookies, sessions, and APIs.
• Experience managing proxies, captcha challenges, and anti-scraping measures.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.

(Optional)

• Experience with Bright Data, Puppeteer, Playwright, or BeautifulSoup.
• Experience deploying scrapers on VPS or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of ETL processes or data pipelines.
