Role Summary: Data Strategist (2–3 Yrs Experience)
This is a business strategy-first role enabled by data.
We’re looking for a Data Strategist who can go beyond dashboards to identify growth opportunities, bottlenecks, and revenue leaks across product, marketing, operations, and user journeys.
You’ll work directly with the Head of Data & Analytics, engage with cross-functional leaders, and build insight-driven frameworks that accelerate decision-making and drive real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Insight Discovery & Growth Strategy
Analyze product funnels, retention patterns, acquisition cohorts, and campaign efficiency to find growth levers.
Break down unstructured or messy datasets to extract key insights and trends.
Connect data patterns to business outcomes and suggest experiments or actions.
Business Partnering
Work closely with marketing, product, CRM, influencer, and ops teams to scope and solve critical business problems.
Build models, cohorts, or performance breakdowns that help stakeholders make faster, sharper decisions.
Own the narrative around “what’s working and what’s not” — with numbers and context.
Problem Solving & Opportunity Sizing
Identify revenue leaks, cost inefficiencies, and untapped customer segments.
Size impact of proposed product or marketing changes using historical and benchmark data.
Design scalable analysis frameworks that can be reused or automated.
Who You Are
2–3 years of experience in data, business analytics, consulting, or strategy roles.
Strong hands-on skills in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets.
Passionate about business thinking — you care about why the numbers move, not just how.
Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and figuring things out.
Clear communicator — able to translate data into narratives that drive action.
Must-Have Skills
Advanced SQL: You can slice, join, aggregate, and window like a pro.
Excel/Sheets: You can pivot, model, and summarize fast.
Any visualisation tool like PowerBI.
Analytical thinking: You’re hypothesis-driven and can dig through noise to find signal.
Business curiosity: You’re proactive in asking the right questions and proposing what to look at next.
Communication: You can explain your findings in clear, simple terms — both in writing and verbally.
Good-to-Have Skills
Exposure to product or marketing analytics
Familiarity with Redshift, Power BI, or similar tools
Experience with stakeholder communication or working cross-functionally
Any Python or scripting knowledge (optional, but a bonus)
