Associate Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong foundation in various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in general dentistry with experience in oral surgery and endo a plus. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest standards of patient assessment, treatment planning, and overall dental health. Excellent compensation( percentage based) and great team to work with.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide a range of dental services including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Conduct routine examinations, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other necessary procedures.
• Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for medical documentation and patient records management.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment to enhance patient care efficiency.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in oral surgery/endo is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques.
• Proficient in medical imaging and dental fabrication processes.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
