Associate Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general dentistry. As an Associate Dentist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid dental license to practice in the state.
• Experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and imaging techniques.
• Strong skills in patient care and patient assessment.
• Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
