Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, along with specialized skills in areas such as pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. This role requires a commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other surgical procedures with precision.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
  • Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental practices.
  • Experience in four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient procedure execution.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in diagnostics.
  • Ability to fabricate dental appliances as needed for patient treatment plans.
  • Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of patient care. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
