Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general/Pediatric dentistry, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest standards of dental care and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical/dental records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options to promote long-term dental health.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including the use of Dentrix software.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental license in the state of practice.
- Valid DEA in the state of practice
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dentall imaging techniques.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
