Associate Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their dental needs, perform various dental procedures, and ensure a comfortable experience throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
• Provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canal therapy, and dental fabrications while adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize dental software system Curve Dental for patient management and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a approach to enhance patient care efficiency.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies to promote long-term wellness.
• Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state of Michigan dental license to practice dentistry.
• Willingness to learn is essential.
• Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
• Familiarity with dental office operations and experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
