Associate Dentist (Part-time – Fee-for-Service and PPO Office)

Location: In-person – Private, San Juan Capistrano dental practice
Pay: $650 – $800 per day (DOE, schedule-dependent)
Schedule: Flexible | 2–4 days/month to start, with potential to grow to 8–10 days/month

We are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Dentist to join our growing practice long-term. This is an opportunity to work in a stable, patient-centered office with consistent scheduling and a supportive team.

Position Overview

As an Associate Dentist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to a wide range of patients. This includes performing comprehensive assessments, restorative and cosmetic procedures, preventive care, and more. You’ll also collaborate with staff and follow best practices in infection control and patient communication.

Note: This position may include occasional hygiene duties, and candidates should be open and flexible to this as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental exams and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform a variety of dental procedures:
• Fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions
• Cosmetic procedures (whitening, veneers)
• Implant restorations
• Preventive and periodontal therapy, nutritional counseling
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
• Follow all HIPAA and infection control protocols
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient and staff safety
• Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care

Pay: $650.00 - $800.00 per day
