Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Russian/Ukranian speaking Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children, and requires proficiency in various dental procedures and technologies. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with our team to ensure the highest standards of dental care while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed and maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Engage in patient education regarding oral health practices and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience or familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Proficient understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Strong skills in patient care, patient assessment, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and infection control practices.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
