Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice and infection control protocols.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, ensuring accurate medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.
- Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to infection control and medical imaging.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is essential.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is required.
- Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and techniques is necessary for maintaining patient safety.
