Associate Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous education.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in dental software system, Dentrix is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with patient care for diverse age groups is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in performing root canal therapy and other complex procedures.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Base Pay: $900.00 per day
