Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental software system, Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with patient care for diverse age groups is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in performing root canal therapy and other complex procedures.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
