Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and treatment planning, as well as experience in both general and specialized dentistry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Execute a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and aseptic techniques.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation practices.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; ability to work effectively with children is essential.
  • Familiarity with root canal therapy (Bicuspids and Molar preferred), dental fabrication, and other specialized procedures is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per day
