Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and periodontal evaluations.
  • Execute a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to:
  • - General dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges) - Pediatric dentistry and treatment of young patients - Oral surgery, including extractions and root canal therapy - Prosthodontics and dental fabrication - Endodontics and root canal therapy
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize dental software opendental for patient management and medical imaging.
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license with no restrictions.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is essential.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $215,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
