Associate Dentist

Job Overview

We are looking to add an associate dentist to our growing practice in St. George, Utah. The position at Ellis Dentistry Co is for 1-2 days a week, but we are flexible. So whether you're semi-retired or just wanting to pick up an extra day or two, we may just be the perfect fit! At least 1 year of clinical experience post dental school is preferred.

We pride ourselves in having the latest in dental technology including a same-day crown machine, scanner, 3D-printer, lasers, cone beam machine, etc. We just added our 6th operatory and have a 7th operatory in the planning stages.

While we are a fast-paced dental office, we care about giving each patient an individualized experience. We are not a numbers mill. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services, including preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures. The Associate Dentist will play a crucial role in enhancing the oral health of our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide a range of dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Conduct dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and dental fabrication.

Skills

• Proficient in dental software such as Dentrix.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and infection control practices.
• Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to perform various dental procedures including but not limited to endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 8 – 18 per week
