Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and dental extractions. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. The Associate Dentist will utilize advanced dental technology and software Office Computer Systems to ensure efficient practice operations and optimal patient outcomes. A strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental fabrication, and oral surgery.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize dental software Office Computer Systems for accurate record-keeping and medical documentation.
  • Ensure strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are followed during all procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Execute dental extractions and perform endodontic treatments with precision.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry including prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and medical imaging techniques.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient care by demonstrating professionalism and compassion during all patient interactions.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
  • Experience in general dentistry with additional skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to perform and utilize medical imaging effectively.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education.
  • Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting is highly desirable.
