Associate Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, along with strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our dental team. We are ideally looking for someone 2-4 days a week and can be flexible. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years experience in private practice.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Be comfortable with all phases of general dentistry
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient education on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver optimal patient care.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.

Skills

• Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in diagnostics.
• Excellent patient assessment skills to evaluate oral health needs effectively.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while addressing concerns and questions.
• Knowledge of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
• Experience with Dentrix software for efficient practice management.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
