Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and fostering a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and bridges.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine treatment needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Execute specialized procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize dental imaging and radiography equipment while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Apply aseptic techniques during all clinical procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education and training sessions.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures.
- Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient clinical workflow.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures.
- Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks and utilize medical imaging tools effectively.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Prior experience working in dental clinics or offices is highly desirable for seamless integration into our team. Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per day
