Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped clinic with a focus on quality care, utilizing advanced dental technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with a team of experienced dental professionals to deliver exceptional services in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties as needed.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive patient examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using dental terminology and medical records.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments.
  • Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct procedures using aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Provide patient education on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry.
  • Manage patient care from initial consultation through follow-up visits, ensuring high standards of patient care and comfort.
  • Maintain proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialties to enhance clinical skills.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines related to medical documentation, medical imaging, anatomy knowledge, infection control, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice dentistry.
  • Proven experience working in a dental clinic or office environment; experience with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
  • Experience performing a variety of procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform procedures requiring aseptic technique and infection control measures effectively.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages. Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per day
