Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high standards of patient comfort, safety, and treatment quality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern facility utilizing advanced dental technology and software, including Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with a team of experienced dental professionals to deliver exceptional oral health services and expand their clinical expertise.
Duties
- Perform general dentistry procedures such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics
- Conduct oral surgery including dental extractions and root canal therapy
- Utilize dental imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment
- Assess patient needs through comprehensive patient care and patient assessment techniques
- Document medical and dental records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Engage in pediatric dentistry when applicable, providing specialized care for children
- Execute endodontic procedures and prosthodontic treatments with precision
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists during four-handed dentistry procedures
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance and post-treatment care using appropriate dental terminology
- Maintain familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient health
Requirements
- Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of employment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred
- Experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient populations including pediatrics
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards and accurate record keeping in medical records systems
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique during all procedures

Pay: $120,000.00 - $226,958.36 per year
