Duties

• Provide high-quality general dentistry services, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
• Perform advanced procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implant placements, prosthodontic restorations, and oral surgeries with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments using medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment options clearly to patients and team members.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties.
• Manage medical records diligently while adhering to privacy regulations; utilize practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling and documentation purposes.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.

Requirements

• Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong foundation in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques.
• Ability to perform dental extractions confidently along with root canal therapy using aseptic techniques.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored for diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning medical records and patient confidentiality.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment or clinic setting is advantageous.
