Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

  • Provide high-quality general dental services including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and compassion.
  • Perform complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implant placements, prosthodontic restorations, and oral surgeries following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical history, taking dental radiographs, and utilizing medical imaging tools to diagnose oral health issues accurately.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and educate them on preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure all procedures are performed with proper dental terminology knowledge and within scope of practice for pediatric dentistry when applicable.
  • Uphold infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques during all clinical activities.
  • Assist in dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, or dentures as needed, ensuring precise fit and function.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to continually enhance patient care quality.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure as a licensed Dentist with current credentials to practice general dentistry.
  • Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with familiarity in dental office workflows and patient management systems.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation and scheduling purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontic procedures, and oral surgery techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and comfort during treatments.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records confidentiality and data security.
  • Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and clinical productivity.
